Adolescent Pot Use Up While Adolescent Alcohol Consumption Is Going Down

A new national publication shows that teen Marijuana usage is rising and teenage alcohol consuming is dropping.

In the yearly report, officials surveyed 8th, 10th, and 12th graders all over the country, and found that marijuana, ecstasy and heroine use is on the rise.

They survey indicated that adolescents who smoke Mary Jane on a daily basis has tripled in the last ten years, but their perceived risk on the drug has dropped.

The survey also figured out that more teens smoke Marijuana than cigarettes.

A high school student tells that cigarettes are harder to get than pot, which is sad.

The rise in Pot use maybe because of the legalization of medical Marijuana in some states.

The report also realized that prescription drug abuse is up.

The most reliable way to counteract this issue is through sensible education on the issue.
